I am a 31 year old, overweight woman doing her best to fight the battle to lose. I am currently doing Weight Watchers and various exercise plans. I have a two year old son and a husband that I adore who are very supportive of my efforts.

I am inspired by your determination and how wise it is to get a grip on the weight gain at an younger age. I am 70+ and been up and down the scale since 40. Right now I am doing it on-line as I don’t drive at night and nearest meeting is over 17 mi from my small town in the Ozarks of Arkansas.
At 215# 4’10″(orig. 5’1.5 “)I joined on-line in desperation Dec. 31 and have lost 19#. I have a temporary goal of 40# stop and try to maintain for several months, and then resume.
My firat reward at 10# was a new, smaller night shirt, and my second 5# was a new TEE for exercise. At 25# my husband owes me a new custom designed laptop (probably will be past 25 before I actually purchase it as I am watching what MS does with new Windows version). Of course I have a wardrobe for every size but will need a few new things.
Best of luck and will be following you. Love the post about the calories/points in some of our former eating habits. Really is eye-popping, iisn’t it.
Great job! Love your post. I too am 5’3″ and just weighed in after a week on WW at 161.8 (down 2.8 lbs the first week). I have a goal of 120-130 for a final goal. Good luck and continued sucess. I’ll keep watching for new ideas.
